Speech Drop-Ins
Join us on the fourth floor of Weinstein Hall from 11a.m. to 3p.m. each Friday for drop-in hours. Meet with a speech consultant about an upcoming presentation, brainstorm, gather resources, or practice your presentation.
Beyond class assignment preparation and practice, students can attend drop-in hours for assistance with:
- career interviews
- conference presentations
- broadcast appearances
- senior thesis or capstone course defenses
- group presentations
- reports of findings by faculty and student researchers
The key to preparing for a formal speaking occasion is allowing enough time for the kind of contemplation and practice you may decide you need. For recurring or more in-depth support, students may also want to consider booking speech appointments in the WLC Student Portal.
